Three Gators Collect AVCA All-America Accolades

Holly Carlton, Thayer Hall and Rachael Kramer tabbed as honorable mention All-America
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three Gators collected All-America accolades from the American Volleyball Coaches association, as announced Wednesday.
Holly Carlton, Thayer Hall and Rachael Kramer were all named AVCA Honorable Mention All-America for their performances throughout the 2018 season.
This is the second AVCA All-America honor for Kramer, who was a Third Team selection last season. Carlton and Hall earned the first AVCA All-America nod of their careers.
Florida finished the 2018 season with a 26-7 record overall, making the 17th program appearance in the Regional Semifinal match. The Gators went 15-3 in conference play, finishing third overall.

- Averaged 2.40 kills per set and 0.86 blocks per set during the 2018 season
- Finished the season third on the team in service aces, recording 32
- During conference play, she averaged 0.35 service aces per set, good for eighth in the league
- Recorded double-digit kills in 14 matches this season
- Has led the team in kills and points in 10 matches this season; also led the team in service aces nine times
- Second on the team in points per set with 3.17
- First career AVCA All-America honor
- Named AVCA Southeast All-Region honorable mention earlier this season
- Averaged a team-best 2.88 kills per set and 3.39 points per set
- Posted double-figure kills in 16 of the 26 matches she played in
- Became the first Gator freshman in the Mary-Wise era to record at least 20 kills in a collegiate debut (20 vs. Nebraska)
- Recorded 53 kills during the first three matches of the season, becoming the first freshmen to reach the 50-kill milestone in three matches
- Went on an 18-point service run against FIU, the longest in the rally-scoring era for Florida
- 2018 SEC All-Freshmen Team selection
- Two-time SEC Freshman of the Week (8/27), (10/1)
- Named to the AVCA Southeast All-Region team earlier this season
- Ranks 69th in the nation and fifth in the SEC in hitting percentage (.349)
- Sits first in the league and 21st in the nation in blocks per set (1.38)
- Recorded a total of 170 blocks in the 2018 season
- Her 148 block assists is the eighth highest total in a season in program history
- Posted double-figure kills in 12 matches this season
- Recorded a double-double (10 kills, 11 blocks) at Ole Miss on Oct. 19
- Averaging 2.98 points per set during the 2018 season
