Monday, February 12, 2018 | Cross Country
NEW ORLEANS – Both the Florida men's and women's cross country teams performed well in the classroom last fall, garnering All-Academic Team honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced Friday morning.
The men's and women's teams each posted 3.36 grade point averages last semester, well above the 3.0 threshold required for the award.
This is the sixth consecutive year the women earned the award, and the 16th time in program history they collected it. It is the third straight award and eighth all-time honor for the men's team.
The Gators continue their 2018 track and field season next Saturday and Sunday at the SEC Indoor Championships.
