Freshman Taylor Ault and sophomore Sherridon Dressel both swam in their first individual NCAA races, with Ault competing in the 500 free and Dressel swimming in the 50 free.

Ault finished 39th overall in the first individual NCAA swim of her career. She posted a time of 4:43.50, good for second in heat four. Sophomore Savanna Faulconer placed sixth in heat 3 and 45th overall with a time of 4:44.56.
200 IM
Three Gators competed in the prelims of the 200 IM, with Fertel leading the way with a 21st-place finish. She won heat 4 with a personal-best time of 1:56.84, which puts her sixth overall in UF's history in the event. Junior Hannah Burns also swam in heat 4 of the prelim, posting a time of 1:58.17 to finish 36th overall.
Junior Sydney Sell rounded out the Gators in the event, recording a time of 2:02.62 to finish 65th overall.

Once again, three Gators swam in the prelims of the 50 free, with Dressel setting the pace for Florida with a personal-best time of 22.48. That time was good for second in the heat and 31st overall; it is also good for seventh overall in UF's program history.
Senior Amelia Maughan finished 57th overall with a time of 23.12, followed by sophomore Emma Ball, who posted a swim of 23.39 in the preliminary round.
1-meter
Madden earned Honorable Mention All-America honors during the 1-meter consolation final after placing fifth with a score of 294.50. The honor is the first of her career and the first for Diving Coach Bryan Gillooly.
Madden put together an incredibly strong performance in the 1-meter prelim, finishing tied for 10th with a score of 294.60. That place was good enough to put her into the consolation final, where she earned Honorable Mention All-America honors.
Friday will feature eight Gators competing, including three in both the 400 IM and the 100 back. Burns, Fertel and Faulconer will each swim in the individual medley, while Ball, Dressel and Sell will participate in the 100 back.
Maughan will be the lone Gator competing in the 200 free, while Madden will dive in the 3-meter event.

- "It was a great performance by Brooke today, I am really happy for her. It was a breakthrough and she has had several of those this year and now to be able to do it at the national level is just awesome."
- "For a sophomore to make it into the consolation final, less than a point away from the championship final is great. That one point is really a coin toss and I expect to see her in the championship final next year."
- "Our focus of the year has been getting her confidence up. Every breakthrough that she has opens her eyes to what she is capable of. We are going to soak this in and get ready for the rest of the week."
