Gators Clinch Series with 10-2 Win

WHAT HAPPENED: Florida clinched the series against Missouri with a 10-2 win in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.
Florida jumped on top early with a pair of runs in the first inning. Jonathan India extended his hitting streak to 22 games with a two-out triple and JJ Schwarz hit a two-run double to put the Gators ahead.
Jackson Kowar settled in after allowing four hits through the first two innings until the Tigers put together a two-out rally to tie the game in the sixth. A two-run double from Zach Hanna evened the score at 2-2.
Schwarz took matters into his own hands and launched a solo shot to left to retake the lead 3-2. It was his ninth home run of the season.
The Gators seized control in the seventh inning, batting around and scoring six runs to blow the game open. Keenan Bell started the rally with a RBI double and came around to score on an error.
Nelson Maldonado launched a two-run homer to make it 7-2 and a RBI double from Dalton gave UF a seven-run lead.
Dalton hit another RBI double in the eighth inning for the final 10-2 margin.
Kowar finished the game with seven strong innings, allowing just two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts.
Freshman Tommy Mace pitched the final 1.2 innings without allowing a hit.
