Coach's Take:
On the Gators' first round:
"This team is really good. We really hung in there for awhile today. Everyone really got beat up a little bit there in the middle of the round but, getting a couple back coming in is so important for moral going into the next couple of day. I would really like to have that as a goal for the next couple of days, just maintain that same level of energy through the entire round. It doesn't mean you will always play perfect golf but, we will avoid some of those highs and lows we had today." --Coach
On quick turnaround
"Hopefully, you come out feeling like you are still in the groove and get some holes in before the wind starts to blow." -- Coach
On Sierra Brooks score:
"It is really good on a course like this. There were some good numbers out there today but, that is a solid round of golf. I'm really happy for her to see that. Knowing her, I know she wants more than that. At the same time, I think she should take the positives away from today and spearhead that into the rest of the week." -- Coach
On adjustment for round two:
"We started in a lot of wind and finished in not much the last couple of holes. I'm guessing it will be a little bit of the opposite tomorrow where it might blow a little bit at the beginning but, will really start to pick up at the end. That's why it is really important tomorrow to maintain that focus all the way to the end." --Coach
