Florida to start round two Saturday morning
STILLWATER, Okla. -- After round one was suspended due to darkness yesterday, Florida completed its round this morning.
The Gators are tied 29th entering the second round after carding a 300 (+12) in round one.
With a birdie on No. 18, Alejandro Tosti had the low round for the team finishing even par and is tied for 38th. Tosti spent most of the day under par. Two bogies on No. 16 and No. 17 brought him to 1-over for the round before pulling one back on the final hole.
Andy Zhang who picked up his round on the par-3 15th this morning was just two shots back of Tosti with a 74 (+2). Zhang nearly found a birdie on No. 18 after a chip put him within a few feet of the hole. The putt slide by and he tapped in for a par.
Florida's second round is already underway with Tosti being the first to play off of the 10th tee this morning at 9:22 ET. The Gators will be paired with Vanderbilt and Alabama again for the second round.
