
McGinnis Selected as 2018 UF Hall of Fame Inductee

Florida’s former setter will be inducted as a Gator Great in November
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Former All-American Florida setter Angie McGinnis (2004-07) was named to the 2018 UF Athletic Hall of Fame class, as the University of Florida F Club and Gator Boosters, Inc. announced Monday.
McGinnis, a three-time AVCA All-American, is one of nine people named to the Class of 2018.
The induction ceremony for the nine-member class is Friday, Nov. 2 at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
McGinnis' Career at Florida:
Each year, the F Club Committee selects members to the Hall of Fame, divided into three different categories: Gator Greats, Distinguished Letterwinners and Honorary Letterwinners.
A Gator Great is a letterwinner who has brought recognition and prominence to the University and themselves by athletic accomplishments as a student-athlete.
