Lindley posted a goal and three assists in her first collegiate weekend of action.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After the season's opening weekend, freshman Cassidy Lindley leads the Gator soccer team with five points off a goal and three assists. Her performance in her collegiate debut weekend earns Lindley the first Southeastern Conference Freshman Soccer Player of the Week honor.
The other players picking up weekly honors are Mississippi's CeCe Kizer (Offensive) and Carly Hoke of Arkansas (Defensive).

Florida begins a seven-match stretch versus teams that advanced to the 2017 NCAA Tournament when No. 23 Ohio State visits next Friday. Match time is 7 p.m. at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium and admission is free.

Lindley's Performance Notes:
- In her first match as a Gator, Lindley provided the primary assist on Sammie Better's tying goal versus Washington (2-1 UF win).
- Against Florida Atlantic, Lindley scored her first collegiate goal, running down Sarah Troccoli's through ball down the center of the box to score from eight yards.
- She also turned in a pair of assists Sunday – on UF's first goal by Melanie Monteagudo and sending the cross that Betters' headed in to close Florida's scoring in a 4-2 win.
- Leads Florida with five points (1 goal, 3 assists).
