Florida drops both matches this weekend by 1-0 scores - Friday versus Ohio State and Sunday at Oklahoma State.
STILLWATER, Okla. – The positive is Florida soccer has no other teams remaining on the schedule with "OSU" initials.
The No. 5 Gator soccer team dropped its second 1-0 decision of the weekend, losing in double overtime Sunday afternoon at Oklahoma State's Neal Patterson Stadium. In Friday's action at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium, Florida lost 1-0 to Ohio State.
This weekend started a stretch of seven consecutive Gator opponents that advanced to 2017 NCAA Tournament play.

The golden goal came when Marlo Zoeller received the ball from Julia Lenhardt deep in Florida's half. She took a touch as she moved through the center of the box and then scored on a 12-yard right footed strike to the far post.
The Gators had opportunities Sunday, albeit not plentiful. One of the better looks came with 10 minutes remaining in regulation. On one of Florida's nine corner kicks for the day, senior Sarah Troccoli's header in the center of the goal was tipped over by OSU goalkeeper Hannah Warner for another corner kick.
