
Florida Travels to LSU For Midweek SEC Matchup

The Gators and Tigers are meeting for the 56th time in program history

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida Gators' volleyball team travels to Baton Rouge, La. to face LSU on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET in the Maravich Center.
The match will air on the SEC Network with Courtney Lyle and Jenny Hazelwood on the call. This is the second of seven SEC Network matches that feature the Gators.
Florida enters Wednesday's match with an 11-3 overall record and a 2-0 record in SEC play. The Tigers dropped their first two SEC matches and come into Wednesday with a 5-8 record overall.
The Gators hold the 42-13 series advantage over the Tigers and are 17-6 in Baton Rouge, La.
Florida won last season's matchup in Gainesville, Fla. in three sets (25-17, 26-24, 25-23). Then senior Carli Snyder led the way offensively with 16 kills, while returner Paige Hammons notched nine kills of her own. Setter Allie Monserez dished out 19 assists in the match and Rachael Kramer registered two blocks.
UF is looking to start 3-0 in conference play for the 24th season under head coach Mary Wise.
