Gators Tied for 11th after First Round of Carpet Capital

ROCKY FACE, Ga. – After an 18-hole first round of the Carpet Capital Collegiate, the Gators sit T11 with a 301 (+13).

Freshman Aden Ye had the best round for Florida, as he finished the first round T36 shooting a 2-over-par 74. Manny Girona finished one stroke behind Ye, with a 75 and T42.

Two Gators ended the day T49 with a 76, Gordon Neale and Chris Nido.

Freshman Eugene Hong finished his first round as a Gator with a 5-over 77 and T58. Ryan Celano, competing as an individual, sits T49 alongside Neale and Nido.
