COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 14 Florida volleyball team continues its SEC weekend with a matchup against Texas A&M on Sunday.
First serve is slated for 1 p.m. on the SEC Network, with Paul Sutherland and Missy Whittemore on the call.
The Gators are coming off a sweep of Arkansas on, while the Aggies topped South Carolina on Friday night in three sets.
Florida is ranked in the top-3 in three different categories in the SEC: hitting percentage (2nd, .271); opponent hitting efficiency (2nd, .165) and blocks per set (1st, 2.75).
Individually, Thayer Hall is ranked sixth in points per set (4.36), fourth in service aces per set (0.36) and seventh in kills per set (3.70).
Marlie Monserez sits fourth in the conference with 9.89 assists per set, while Allie Gregory is third in digs per set, averaging 4.21.
Lauren Dooley is ranked second in blocks per set, averaging 1.31 and Paige Hammons is also ranked fifth in service aces per set, registering 0.35 through the season thus far.
In conference play, the Gators are ranked first in blocks per set (3.27) and first in opponent hitting percentage (.157). Rachael Kramer is leading the league in hitting percentage (.433) and Lauren Dooley is first in blocks per set, averaging 1.73.
The last time out against Texas A&M was Oct. 5, 2018, where the Gators won in five (25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 15-13) in Gainesville, Fla.
Three Gators recorded double-digit kills in the match: Holly Carlton (14), Paige Hammons (13) and Thayer Hall (10). Rachael Kramer and Taelor Kellum each registered nine and eight kills, respectively
Allie Monserez dished out 33 assists on the afternoon, while Marlie Monserez added 11.
Allie Gregory controlled the backcourt defense with 20 digs, while Thayer Hall notched 15. A. Monserez recorded a double-double with 11 digs on the afternoon.
Holly Carlton recorded seven blocks, while Rachael Kramer and Taelor Kellum both pitched in five blocks apiece.
