
Gators Rise in Latest AVCA Poll

Florida moves up to No. 13 in the AVCA poll
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators moved to No. 13 in the AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll after going 2-0 over the weekend, as announced on Monday.
Florida swept Arkansas on Friday night, moving to 3-1 in the SEC. Thayer Hall led the way with 10 kills, while Lauren Dooley posted a career-high 12.0 blocks – the third-best total for a three-set match in program history.
UF then continued its weekend with a five-set win at Texas A&M. Hall posted a team-high 18 kills, while Paige Hammons and Holly Carlton both added 10 kills on the afternoon.
The Gators return home to face South Carolina in a SEC matchup on Wednesday. First serve is slated for 8 p.m. on the SEC Network.
