GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It was another come-from-behind win for the No. 24 University of Florida soccer team. The Gators won 2-1 over Auburn on a drippy Friday evening at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
The Gators trailed after the Tigers scored in the 16

Parker Roberts hit the game-winner in the 48
th minute.
SEC Race:
Wins tonight move Florida and Arkansas (3-1 at Texas A&M) to the top of
Southeastern Conference standings. The Gators and Razorbacks are tied with 18 points and South Carolina is third at 17 after tying 1-all at Tennessee.
Three matches remain on the SEC regular-season schedule for all 14 teams.
Friday's scoring:
The Tigers won the ball at the top of the Gators' defensive half. Jessie Gerow pass found Angeline Daly making a run above the box. Daly received the ball, won a joust and then hit a 19-yard right-footed strike which scored in the 16
th minute.
Peace tied the match in the 37
th minute. The cross
Carina Baltrip-Reyes sent from the touchline was dummied by
Deanne Rose at the near post. The ball continued moving across the goal before Peace put it in from six yards.
Florida used an early second half goal to take the lead. Freshman
Ava Kuyken's ball found
Cassidy Lindley moving above the box. Lindley and her defender moved horizontally above the box before Lindley sent the ball into space. Roberts caught up to ball and beat the goalkeeper with a shot to the far post corner.

Susi Espinoza had a couple key saves tonight – a kick save on Jessie Gerow's shot in the sixth minute and coming off her line to close the angle on Angeline Daly's shot in the 74
th minute.

- Parker Roberts now has four goals in 2019 – setting her career high for goals in a season. She had three goals as a freshman at Kansas in 2015 and as a UF sophomore in 2017. Four goals shares second with Cassidy Lindley and Deanne Rose among the 2019 Gators.
- Kouri Peace scores in her second consecutive match, with her three goals this season coming in her last eight appearances.
- Outside back Carina Baltrip-Reyes recorded her first point of 2019 on the Gators' opening goal.
- Lindley now leads the 2019 Gators with five assists, which equals her 2018 season assists total
- Florida has scored three goals this season in the 48th minute.
