
Gators Hold Steady in AVCA Poll

Florida remains at No. 13 for the third-straight week
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida volleyball team held its No. 13 in the AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll after going 2-0 last weekend, as the organization announced Monday afternoon.
The Gators also jumped two spots in the latest NCAA RPI rankings, moving up to 10th.
Florida swept Alabama on Friday night to move to 7-1 in the SEC. Thayer Hall led the way with 15 kills, while Rachael Kramer racked up five kills and four blocks.
On Sunday afternoon, the Gators topped Tennessee in four sets to remain atop the SEC. Paige Hammons led the way with 15 kills, while Hall and Kramer both pitched in 13 kills apiece.
The Gators return to action on Wednesday to face Missouri in Columbia, Mo. First serve is slated for 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Others receiving votes: San Diego 60; Southern California 37; Stephen F Austin 29; UC Santa Barbara 19; Michigan 13; Texas A&M 13; Louisville 9; Florida State 3. Two teams mentioned on only one ballot for a total of eight combined points.
