COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 13 Florida volleyball team heads to Columbia, Mo. to take on the 24th-ranked Missouri Tigers on Wednesday night.
First serve is slated for 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU with Tyler Denning and Lizzy Stemke on the call.
The Gators are coming off a four-set win against Tennessee, while Mississippi State won its last contest, defeating Mississippi State in straight sets.
Florida is ranked in the top-3 in three different categories in the SEC: hitting percentage (2nd, .273); opponent hitting efficiency (2nd, .177) and blocks per set (1st, 2.62).
Individually, Thayer Hall is ranked fifth in points per set (4.46), eighth in service aces per set (0.31) and sixth in kills per set (3.82).
Rachael Kramer sits ninth in the conference in hitting percentage with a .382 clip.
Marlie Monserez sits fourth in the conference with 9.99 assists per set, while Allie Gregory is third in digs per set, averaging 4.25.
Lauren Dooley is ranked second in blocks per set, averaging 1.23 and Paige Hammons is also ranked fifth in service aces per set, registering 0.33 through the season thus far.
In conference play, the Gators are ranked second in blocks per set (2.70) and third in opponent hitting percentage (.187). Lauren Dooley is second in the league in blocks per set, averaging 1.36, while Rachael Kramer is second in hitting percentage (.391).
In the last meeting on Oct. 21, 2018, the Gators dropped the five-set decision in Gainesville, Fla. (23-25, 25-16, 17-25, 25-13, 15-17).
Florida recorded 23.5 blocks, led by 13 from Taelor Kellum. Rachael Kramer added nine, while Holly Carlton and Thayer Hall finished with eight and seven, respectively.
Kramer and Hall paced the offense, finishing with 10 kills each. Paige Hammons, Carlton and Mia Sokolowski each pitched in nine kills of their own.
Allie Monserez dished out a team-leading 23 assists, followed by 15 from Marlie Monserez.
Allie Gregory controlled the backcourt with 14 digs, Hall followed with 12, Allie Monserez added 11 and Paige Hammons registered 10 on the afternoon.
