Gators Cap Fall Season at Stanford Intercollegiate

The No. 6 Florida women's golf team will close out its fall slate in Stanford, Calif.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 6 Florida women's golf team will close out its fall season at the Stanford Intercollegiate in Stanford, Calif. Hosted by Stanford, the three-day event is scheduled to run from Friday, Oct. 11 to Sunday, Oct. 13.
Format
The teams will complete 54 holes of stroke play over three days of competition. The first and second rounds will both start at 10:30 a.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12, respectively. The final round will take place on Sunday, Oct. 13 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Course Information
The tournament is being played at the Par 71, 6,130 yard Stanford Golf Course. This venue has hosted a plethora of prestigious events, such as the U.S. Open Qualifying, the women's NCAA Championships, NCAA Regionals, Pac-12 Championships and the USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying.

Tournament History
This will mark the second time that Florida has played in the Stanford Intercollegiate under head coach Emily Glaser. The Gators only other appearance with Glaser at the helm came in 2016 when they finished tied for fourth.
Last Time Out
The Gators took third at the Windy City Collegiate behind another second-place finish from senior Sierra Brooks.
Brooks finished the event at 8 under, just three strokes behind the individual champion, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of South Carolina.
Addie Baggarly finished at even par and tied for 15th individually.
Elin Esborn ended the tournament at 2 over overall and inside the top 25 individually at tied for 25th.
Marta Perez and Clara Manzalini both shot at 6 over and tied for 42nd on the leaderboard.

The Gators have a few months off before they return to the course in early February for spring season.
