STARKVILLE, Miss. – The No. 12 Florida volleyball team continues its road stretch with a contest against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.
First serve is slated for 2 p.m. ET on the SEC Network +.
The Gators are coming off a five-set win over Ole Miss, while the Bulldogs lost in straight sets to South Carolina on Friday night.
Florida is ranked in the top-3 in two different categories in the SEC: opponent hitting efficiency (2nd, .178) and blocks per set (1st, 2.67).
Individually, Thayer Hall is ranked sixth in points per set (4.51), eighth in service aces per set (0.30) and sixth in kills per set (3.86).
Rachael Kramer sits eighth in the league in hitting percentage with a .346 clip.
Marlie Monserez sits fourth in the conference with 10.11 assists per set, while Allie Gregory is fourth in digs per set, averaging 4.20.
Lauren Dooley is ranked second in blocks per set, averaging 1.21 and Paige Hammons is also ranked sixth in service aces per set, registering 0.31 through the season thus far.
In conference play, the Gators are ranked first in blocks per set (2.77) and third in opponent hitting percentage (.187). Rachael Kramer is third in the league in hitting percentage (.403).
In the last meeting on Oct. 28, 2018, Florida won in straight-sets in Starkville, Miss. (25-18, 25-21, 25-20).
Paige Hammons paced the Gators' offense, finishing with 12 kills and only two errors. Holly Carlton pitched in 11 kills of her own and Taelor Kellum registered seven.
Allie Monserez led the team with 15 assists and Marlie Monserez followed with 11. M. Monserez also posted a then-career-high four kills and three blocks.
Allie Gregory controlled the backcourt defense for Florida, posting 19 digs on the afternoon. Paula Cerame added a career-high eight digs of her own.
Rachael Kramer led the defense at the net, recording six blocks in the match.
