Four Gators Earn AVCA All-Region Accolades

Kramer, Hall named All-Region; Hammons, Gregory earned Honorable Mention nod
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 12th-ranked Florida volleyball team placed two student-athletes on the 2019 AVCA All-Southeast Region Team and two on the Honorable Mention Team, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
Rachael Kramer earned the third AVCA All-Southeast Region honor of her career, becoming the 13th Gator to do so since 2000.
Thayer Hall was named to the AVCA All-Southeast Region team for the first time in her career, after having earned a spot on the Honorable Mention squad a season ago.
Paige Hammons and Allie Gregory both found themselves on the AVCA All-Southeast Region Honorable Mention team. This is the first AVCA honorable mention nod for both.
These four and the rest of the Gators continue their NCAA Tournament run with a matchup against Minnesota in the Regional Semifinal. These two teams face off on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET in Austin, Texas with a spot in the Regional Final on the line.

- Ranks first on the team in kills (399), second on the team in digs (263) and service aces (33) and fourth on the team in blocks (55)
- Has notched double-figure kills in 26 of the 29 matches this season
- Has recorded 12 double-doubles on the year
- Registered a career-high 25 kills against Dayton
- Two-time SEC Offensive Player of the Week (9/3, 10/28)
- 2018 AVCA and VolleyballMag.com All-American
- 2018 AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention
- 2018 SEC All-Freshman selection
- Three-time AVCA All-Region honoree
- The 13th Gator since 2000 to have earned at least three AVCA All-Region honors
- Four-time All-SEC selection (includes freshman honors)
- Just the 10th Gator to have earned four SEC honors during their tenure

- Hitting percentage: T4th - .410
- Blocks – 5th – 464

- Ranks eighth in the nation and first in the SEC in hitting percentage (.413)
- Second on the team in blocks (94)
- Posted double-figure kills in 11 matches this season
- Recorded at least a .400 hitting percentage in 17 matches this season
- Two-time AVCA All-American and VolleyballMag.com All-American
- Two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Week in 2019 (9/3, 11/4)
- First AVCA All-Region honorable mention accolade of her career
- Currently sits fourth in program history with 1,375 digs in her career
- She started the season ranked 24th in program history, jumping 20 spots
- Has recorded at least 10 digs in 28 matches this season, including seven matches with 20+
- Notched a career-high 25 against Texas A&M on Senior Day
- Has led the Gators in digs in 28 of the 31 matches this season
- Ranks fourth in the SEC in digs per set, averaging 4.21
- She sits first on the team in digs with 472 and second in assists with 114
- Also ranks fourth in service aces with 21
- Three-time SEC Defensive Player of the Week (9/23, 10/21, 12/2)
- First AVCA All-Region honorable mention accolade of her career
- Two-time All-SEC Selection (2018, 2019)
- Currently sits third in the league in service aces per set, averaging 0.37
- During conference play, she has notched 0.38 service aces per set, good for third in the league
- Has recorded 11 double-figure kill matches
- Notched six double-doubles this season, including the latest against UCF (16 kills, 10 digs) to send UF to the Regional Semifinal
- Registered a career-high four services aces on three occasions this season
- Sits first on the squad in service aces with 41
- Sits second on the team in kills with 267 and ranks fourth in digs (240)
