Gators Look to Defend Title at AllState Sugar Bowl

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators women's golf hits the road for the second weekend in a row, heading to New Orleans for the AllState Sugar Bowl, hosted by Tulane.
The Gators won the event last year by nine strokes and junior Sierra Brooks took home the individual title with a four-stroke win. Two other Gators, junior Marta Perez and sophomore Elin Esborn, both finished inside the top 10 last year as well.
Florida is coming off a less-than-perfect performance last week in California at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, where they finished 13th in a 16-team field. They were ranked No. 3 in the country heading into the tournament and now sit at No. 8 in the newest GolfStat rankings.
Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,239 yard English Turn Golf Course and Country Club.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. Sunday's and Monday's tee times will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET. Tuesday's final round tee times will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET.
