GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 6 Florida hits the road for a top-25 Southeastern Conference showdown with No. 22 Ole Miss with a three-game series this Friday through Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex.

The Gators (28-6, 2-4 SEC) take on the Rebels (22-8, 3-2 SEC) for their third SEC series, second on the road, of the season. UF opened the season at home against Tennessee then followed up with a road series against LSU.

For this weekend's series against the Rebels, Kyle Crooks will have the call live on WGGG (92.1/1230 AM) and WMOP (100.1 FM/900 AM), while the SEC Network + broadcast will be hosted by Seth Austin and Missy Dickerson.

Notable Notes

Junior Kendyl Lindaman earned Louisville Slugger/National Fastpich Coaches Association Player of the Week and SEC Co-Player of the Week after a series of successful outings at the plate for the Gators.
- Stephanie Tofft was the last UF player pick up both awards in the same week; she earned the awards the week of April 21, 2014.
Senior Kelly Barnhill struck out her 1,000th career batter against Minnesota last week and now has her sights on the all-time record of 1,116 set by Stacey Nelson (2006-'09). Barnhill currently sits with 1,017 career strikeouts and is the NCAA's active career leader in the category.
Florida has posted 13 shutouts on the year so far and rank fourth nationally in the category.
UF enters this week ranked No. 6 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and No. 7 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Poll.
