
Saturday's Match vs. Savannah State Canceled

No. 26 women's tennis now to play just one match on Saturday as they take on No. 5 South Carolina.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – University of Florida women's tennis head coach Roland Thornqvist announced Friday morning that the team's upcoming match vs. Savannah State has been canceled.
The match, originally slated for 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, was a late addition to the schedule and would have made Saturday a double-header for the Gators (11-9, 7-5) but now Florida will host just one match as it battles No. 5 South Carolina at 10 a.m. at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
Thursday night Florida earned a crucial 4-3 victory over No. 14 Michigan as it pushed its overall record to 11-9.
