Gators Prepare to Close Regular Season at Ohio State
Thursday, April 18, 2019 | Men's Golf
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators men's golf team hits the road for the final time of the regular season, heading to Columbus, Ohio for the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio State.
The Gators are coming off a rocky performance from two weeks ago at Stanford's The Goodwin. After being in contention for the first two rounds of play, Florida slipped from sixth to 15th on the final day of the tournament. Despite the slide, the Gators still had two individuals finish inside the top 30, with sophomore Chris Nido leading the way at T19 and senior Gordon Neale one stroke back and T29.
Florida is looking to end a bumpy spring season on a high note after four top-six finishes and zero titles this year.
Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 71, 7,455 yard Scarlet Course at the Ohio State University Golf Club.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over two days. The first 36 holes will be played on Friday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. ET. Saturday's final round tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.
