A three-goal weekend earns Deanne Rose her first SEC Offensive Player of the Week award
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a three-goal weekend, Gator junior forward Deanne Rose claims the first Southeastern Conference Offensive Soccer Player of the Week award.
Other weekly SEC winners include South Carolina's Tatum Milazzo (Defensive) and Texas A&M's Shantel Hutton (Freshman).

Rose is one of 13 current Division I players to be a part of a 2019 World Cup roster. She was part of Canada roster. Of those 13, Rose is among the eight to register 2019 World Cup minutes.

- In Florida's opening weekend, Rose scored three of the Gators' five goals. She played a part in both of Florida's goals at No. 18 South Florida, assisting on the first by Kit Loferski and scoring the second.
- Scored twice in the season opener at Florida Atlantic, including the golden goal in the 95th minute. It was her fifth double-goal match as a Gator.
- Of Rose's six game-winning goals as a Gator, half are golden goals. She now is one of five to share Florida's career golden goals record.
