
Florida Set to Host Honda of Gainesville Gators Invitational

Match Notes
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida volleyball team is set to host the Honda of Gainesville Gators Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The Gators, along with South Florida, James Madison and Long Beach State, will compete in the two-day invitational.
On Friday at Noon, the Gators face the South Florida Bulls and follow that up with a 7 p.m. match against the James Madison Dukes.
UF holds the 28-3 series lead over South Florida, including a perfect 16-0 record under Mary Wise. Florida won the lone matchup between the Gators and the Dukes back in 2015.
Florida closes out the invitational against Long Beach State at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Gators trail LBSU in the overall series, but hold a 3-1 record at home in Gainesville, Fla.
All three matches will be streamed on the SEC Network +, while ESPN Gainesville 98.1 FM/850 AM will feature radio broadcasts for both Friday matches.
