The Florida women's golf team has a one-stroke lead after the first two rounds of the Windy City Collegiate.
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Florida women's golf team has a one-stroke lead after a 10 under performance through the first 36 holes at the Windy City Collegiate.
Sierra Brooks led Florida through the day one in the Windy City. In the opening round, Brooks carded six birdies to finish 5 under. The senior then shot 1 under in the second round to end the day at 6 under overall and third on the leaderboard.
Addie Baggarly also had a solid outing during today's rounds. Baggarly finished 1 over through the first 18 holes, but a 4-under 68 showing in the second round put her at 3 under collectively and tied for fifth as an individual.
Elin Esborn shot 1 under in the second round, sending her into the clubhouse at 1 over overall. Esborn is currently tied for 23rd on the leaderboard.
Clara Manzalini also enjoyed a 1 under performance in the second round to end the day at 2 over.
Marta Perez recorded a 1 under in the first round, but a tough afternoon outing put her at 4 over collectively.
The final round of the Windy City Collegiate is schedule to begin tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. ET.
