
Gators Set for 2020 Home Opener Against Alabama

Florida welcomes the Alabama Crimson Tide to town for a two-match series

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Florida Gators make their way to Exactech Arena for the first time this fall, facing off against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Friday's matchup is slated for 7 p.m. on the SEC Network, with Courtney Lyle and Missy Whittemore on the call. The two squads then face off on Saturday at 3 p.m. to close out the two-match series.
The 2020 SEC volleyball season will consist of an eight-match, conference-only schedule over six weeks of competition beginning Oct. 16 with each school competing against four opponents on back-to-back nights.
UF holds the 47-0 record over the Crimson Tide, including a 45-0 record under the helm of Mary Wise.
COVID 19 Fan Policies and Procedures
To comply with physical distancing requirements, Exactech Arena will host a limited percentage of its listed seating, putting the capacity at 2,200.
In accordance with campus guidelines, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required for all fans throughout the entire game. This includes when fans are entering and exiting the arena. Fans may only remove face coverings while actively eating or drinking. Failure to comply with this important health guideline could result in loss of ticket privileges.

Due to the football game on Saturday, fans will be asked to park in the garage of the Stephen C. O'Connell Center lot. Overflow parking will be available at Flavet Field (following the Lot 5 signs).
Mobile Ticketing
The UAA will require mobile ticketing this fall in an effort to reduce contact between fans and staff. With this, fans will be able to access their tickets through the Florida Gators app from their mobile device, or via FloridaGators.com/myaccount.
Fans can add their tickets to their respective Apple Wallet or Google Pay account for added safety and convenience. Fans will also be able to transfer or donate their tickets easily within the app or online.

The safety of our student-athletes, staff, and fans remains our top priority, meaning fans will see new guidelines, signage and enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the arena.
Please note this includes all fans abiding by a strict physical distancing policy of six feet between groups. Physical distancing will also be required when entering and exiting the arena. As a reminder, all fans must wear face coverings (over the nose and mouth) when entering, once inside and when exiting the arena, with the lone exception being while they are eating or drinking.
Updated Bag Policy
