Gators will not play in game at Dayton originally slated for Sunday, Dec. 20.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida women's basketball team's scheduled matchup at the University of Dayton on Sunday, Dec. 20 has been canceled. The decision was made on Thursday following consultation with medical personnel and discussions between the two programs' administrations.
Fresh off a frenetic stretch of basketball in which it played five games in a nine-day span, Florida has opened the season with an impressive 5-1 record. UF has played six games already in the 2020-21 campaign, the second most among SEC teams.
