GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Gators are D1Baseball.com's No. 1 team for a third consecutive week, and they are riding the third-longest winning streak in school history into Tuesday night's Sunshine Showdown against No. 15 Florida State at McKethan Stadium.
Florida has won the last 11 games in the series, in addition to being 24-5 in the series since the start of the 2012 season.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday's game will stream on SEC Network+, via the ESPN app.
While baseball fans can park in the O'Connell Center lot and garage on a first come, first served basis, fans may also park in in Garage 14 off Gale Lemerand Dr. and utilize the free shuttle services being provided Tuesday night. The shuttle's drop-off location will be at the Lemerand Center entrance on Stadium Rd.
At 16-0, Florida is the nation's only undefeated team, and is one win away from tying the 2016 Gators for the second-longest winning streak in school history. The record is held by the 2012 Gators, who won 18 in a row from Feb. 21 through March 20.
Florida continues to be one of the nation's top all-around teams, ranking 18th in earned run average (2.43), 11th in hits (168), and tied for 11th in fielding percentage (.983).
