Freddie Swain found the end zone in the third quarter on Sunday night after a 21-yard pass from Russell Wilson, marking his first professional score. Swain, an Ocala, Fla. native, appeared in 47 career games (10 starts) and caught 68 passes for 996 yards and 15 touchdowns for UF. Additionally, he would add 1,387 all-purpose yards over his collegiate career.
Jordan Reed scored a pair of touchdowns for the San Francisco 49ers to help them secure their first victory of the season. The veteran tight end has now scored 26 touchdowns over the course of his career and recently signed with the 49ers this offseason after spending his first six seasons with the Washington Football Team.
A pair of veteran cornerbacks intercepted a pass to help their team secure 2-0 starts to the 2020-21 season.
Joe Haden picked off a pass late in the first half in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. Haden became the first true freshman to start at cornerback on opening day in UF history in 2007 and started all 40 games that he played in at cornerback for the Gators.
Seattle cornerback Quinton Dunbar intercepted a Cam Newton pass on Sunday night to pick up a primetime victory for the Seahawks.
Dunbar, who played receiver at UF from 2010-14, tallied a career-best four interceptions and 37 tackles in 11 starts in 2019-20.

CJ Henderson was named the Pepsi Rookie of the Week after a historic debut. Henderson intercepted his first pro pass and helped Jacksonville secure a their a season-opening victory by breaking up a pass late in the fourth quarter.
The 2020 first round pick was credited with six tackles and one pass defense during Jacksonville's matchup with Tennessee this week.
