Leanne Wong Leads U.S. All-Arounders in World Championships Qualification

Gator freshman Leanne Wong advances to the World Gymnastics Championships all-around, balance beam and floor exercise finals. 
University of Florida freshman Leanne Wong advances to World Gymnastics Championships finals for all-around, balance beam and floor exercise. Wong's scores in Oct. 18 subdivision competition at the World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan, qualified her for the event finals.

Wong's all-around total of 55.749 is second after the conclusion of subdivision competition. She will be among the 24 gymnasts advancing to the all-around final, which begins Thursday, Oct. 21 at 5 a.m. ET. That competition airs live on the Olympic Channel.

For Sunday's event finals, Wong is the No. 4 qualifier (13.70) for beam and No. 3 (14.00) for floor exercise.
