Florida holds the 48-13 advantage over LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. – The 20th-ranked Florida volleyball team (10-5, 4-1 SEC) hits the road for a two-match series against the LSU Tigers (6-8, 2-3 SEC) beginning Saturday.

Saturday's first serve is slated for a 5 p.m. ET start on SEC Network +. Sunday's match is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on the SEC Network with Eric Frede and Jenny Hazelwood on the call.

Fans can also listen to Saturday's match on FloridaGators.com/watch, while Sunday's match can be heard on the airways of ESPN 98.1 FM/850 AM.

The Gators are coming off two weekend sweeps against Ole Miss, while LSU defeated Missouri in straight sets on Wednesday night.

Florida holds the 48-13 series advantage over LSU, including a 45-5 record under Mary Wise.

Last Time Against LSU

The Gators topped the Tigers in four sets in their last contest on Feb. 11, 2021 (25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19)
The outsides came up huge for Florida in the victory, with T'ara Ceasar and Thayer Hall combining for 39 kills. Ceasar posted 20 kills on the evening with a .425 clip and Hall registered 19 kills
Former Gator Mia Sokolowski posted nine kills on 15 swings for a .467 clip, while Lauren Forte added eight kills of her own with a .700 attack percentage
Gator alum Holly Carlton stepped up in the setting role for the Gators, leading the squad to a .300 clip in the match. Carlton posted a career-high 55 assists, while also adding seven digs, four kills, three blocks and three service aces
The Gators held LSU to a .169 clip on the evening, while Lauren Dooley and Carlton each posted a team-high three blocks.
Elli McKissock was all over the backcourt on Thursday night, registering 22 digs. Ceasar notched 15 digs on the evening, while Hall posted eight in the match
As a team, Florida recorded seven service aces, led by Carlton's three. McKissock and Ceasar each recorded two in the four-setter
