Florida Ballpark Game Day Information

Information about what fans can expect when attending a game at Florida Ballpark this season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The inaugural season of Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field is here, as the top-ranked Gators will face No. 21 Miami in a season-opening series Friday, Feb. 19 through Sunday, Feb. 21. First pitch for Friday's game, which will also be telecast live via SEC Network, is set for 3 p.m. Saturday's and Sunday's games both have 1 p.m. start times.

Gators fans who will be attending Florida Baseball games this year will enjoy several new amenities and unique fan experiences throughout the ballpark.

For starters, chairback seating will put fans right on top of the action, in addition to new premium seating options in the Diamond Deck, shade structures, a 360-degree open view concourse, a walk-in sport shop with expanded offerings, a customer service office to answer any questions, a designated play area for families with young fans, as well as unique viewing and seating experiences in the Dizney Grove, which will feature food trucks and new concessions items.

The safety of our student-athletes, staff and fans remains our top priority, so Florida Ballpark will open with COVID-19 protocols in place. With the guidance of UF Health and the SEC Medical Taskforce, fans will see new guidelines, signage, and enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the ballpark. To comply with physical distancing requirements, all of our pods of seats are 6 feet apart, including the Berm and Grove areas. In accordance with campus guidelines, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) must be worn at all times unless actively eating or drinking while seated or at standing tables.

To comply with physical distancing requirements, Florida Ballpark will host approximately 1,700 fans per game.
