Gators Scheduled for 11 TV Games, Including Season Opener Against Miami

Florida will play nine games on SEC Network, as well as a game on ESPNU and ESPN2 this season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – ESPN and the Southeastern Conference announced the 2021 baseball television programming schedule Wednesday afternoon, with one of its crown jewels being No. 1 Florida's season-opening game against No. 21 Miami.
 
First pitch for the inaugural game at Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 on SEC Network.
 
The Gators, who are the unanimous preseason No. 1 team, are scheduled to play 10 other television games this season. Nine of UF's 11 television games are set to be broadcast via SEC Network, including a Tuesday, April 13 meeting with in-state rival Florida State. The Friday and Sunday games of Florida's series against No. 4 Vanderbilt will air via ESPNU and ESPN2, respectively.
 
Florida is also adding a midweek game against Mercer on Tuesday, March 30, which replaces the cancelled game against Florida State in Jacksonville. The Gators will face Mercer at Florida Ballpark at 6 p.m. Times for Florida's entire home slate have also been added to the team's schedule page.

A total of 76 SEC baseball games are slated to be televised during the 2021 regular season, with the SEC Network airing 59 games. Another 16 will be telecast by ESPNU, while the Florida-Vanderbilt matchup will be the only regular-season game on ESPN2.
 
In addition, two wildcard games during the final weekend of the regular season (May 21-22) will be selected to air on the SEC Network.
