ORANGE BEACH, ALA. – A late goal gave Louisiana State soccer a 2-1 win over Florida in a neutral site match at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

Sunday's scoring:
LSU took the lead into halftime when Reese Moffatt scored in the 41^st minute.

Florida's Beata Olsson tied the match up in the 69^th minute. The goal started when Parker Roberts won the ball at midfield. She found fellow senior Madison Alexander who threaded it a great ball to Olsson. The freshman scored her third goal of the spring with a shot to the far corner.

The game winning goal came from junior Molly Thompson off assists by Moffatt and Maddie Moreau. It was Thompson's fifth goal of the season.
