Gators in Prime Position Heading into Final Round of Play at NCAA Regionals

Florida sits in sixth place heading into the final round, where the top six teams will qualify for Championship play in Arizona.
STANFORD, Calif. – The University of Florida women's golf team has set themselves up for success following the second round of play at the Stanford NCAA Regionals, posting an overall 9-over par 577 through two rounds of play to sit in sixth place.
Following tomorrow's final round of play, the top six teams and three individuals for non-qualifying teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.
The Gators are co-led by Clara Manzalini and Maisie Filler, who both hold even scorecards at the conclusion of the second day of play and sit tied for 15th place individually.
Addie Baggarly provided a consistent scorecard to help pace the Gators as they head into tomorrow's final round, finishing the day with an even card and 4-over overall score to tie for 38th.
Marina Escobar sits a stroke off of her senior leader, finishing the day 1-over par and 5-over overall.
Sophomore Annabell Fuller rounded out the Gators lineup, finishing the day 2-over par.
The Gators will head back on the course tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET for the final round of competition in Stanford.
