Gators Release 2021-22 Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida's head men's golf coach J.C. Deacon has announced the 2021-22 schedule.

"Every year we aim to play on the best golf courses against the best competition college golf has to offer and our 2021-2022 schedule accomplishes that," Deacon said. "We are incredibly grateful for the opportunities that lie ahead. We are ready to work and compete at the highest level in order to make the Gator Nation proud."

Florida tees off the campaign at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invite in Chicago on September 17-19. Then three consecutive tournaments to start the month of October - Nike Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 4-5), SEC Match Play Championship (Oct. 10-12) and Isleworth Collegiate (Oct. 17-19) - to conclude the fall season.

The spring slate begins at the Sea Best Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb.1) where the Gators have dominated - 1st place in 2017, 2nd in 2020, and 3rd in 2019. The tournament is also home to where Ricky Castillo captured his first career collegiate title.

UF returns home to host the 45th annual Gators Invitational at Mark Bostick Golf Course from February 12-13 as they look to win the event for the third consecutive year.

Southern Highlands is the next test as it marks the third straight tournament the Gators appear in that they have won recently - 2019. The regular season ends with a trip for the first time to the Linger Longer (March 20-22) and the second appearance at the Calusa Cup (April 3-5).

The SEC Championship is scheduled for April 19-24 at St. Simons Island, Ga. at the Sea Island Golf Club. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 15-18 followed by the NCAA Championships May 27-June 1 in Scottsdale, Ariz. at Grayhawk Golf Club.
