STANFORD, Calif. – The No. 5 Florida volleyball team (3-0) continues its California road trip with a Top-25 matchup against No. 20 Stanford (2-0).

First serve is slated for 8 p.m. ET on the Pac-12 Networks at Maples Pavilion.

Both the Gators and the Cardinal went undefeated during their opening weekends, with Florida sweeping San Francisco, UC Davis and Sacramento State. Stanford kicked off its 2021 campaign with two 3-0 wins against Villanova and Temple.

Stanford holds the 7-5 series advantage over the Gators, but Florida is 1-1 at Maples Pavilion.

After the first weekend of play, Florida sits second in the nation in hitting percentage, with a clip of .408
The Gators are also 10th in opponent hitting percentage, holding their opposition to a .067 clip
Redshirt senior Lauren Forte is seventh in the nation in blocks per set at 2.00
Forte also ranks in the Top-10 in hitting percentage, sitting eighth in the nation with a .565 percentage

Last Time Against Stanford

The last time Florida and Stanford faced off was on Sept. 4, 2019, when the Cardinal won in straight sets in Exactech Arena (25-22, 25-17, 25-19)
Former Gator Holly Carlton led the way with 10 kills, followed by eight from Thayer Hall and seven from Gator alum Paige Hammons
Marlie Monserez dished out 22 assists in the match, adding three digs and a block
Hall posted six digs on the evening, while former Gator Rachael Kramer posted a team-high three blocks
Hall also recorded the squad's only service ace in the match
