GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gator duo – Trinity Thomas and Leanne Wong – claimed Southeastern Conference weekly gymnastics honors after UF's league opener.
Thomas is the SEC Specialist Gymnast of the Week. This is Thomas' first SEC Specialist of Week honor of her career as she's been named the SEC Gymnast of the Week 15 times. Florida's Alyssa Baumann claimed the first SEC Specialist of the Week honor.
Wong shares the SEC Freshman of the Week with Auburn's Sophia Groth. SEC Gymnast of the Week honors went to Kentucky's Raena Worley.

- Anchored Florida's lineup with her fourth floor 10.0 to give UF the winning margin versus Alabama.

- In collegiate all-around debut, second at 39.30 (top total among SEC freshmen for weekend)
- Tied for third on floor with a collegiate best 9.925
- Third on beam with a collegiate best 9.90.
- In Road to National standing, tied for 20th in all-around (39.30)
- In October of 2021, Wong was World Championships' all-around runner-up and took bronze on floor
