GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 7 Florida lacrosse team is set for its first Top-10 battle of the season on Saturday, welcoming the No. 2 North Carolina Tar Heels to Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. and the game will be streamed on YouTube.

This is the 14th meeting between the Gators and the Tar Heels, with North Carolina holding the 10-3 series advantage. UNC took the last matchup between the two teams 11-5 on Feb. 19, 2021 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Gators defeated the Kennesaw State Owls 22-7 to kick off the 2022 season, while the Tar Heels topped No. 12 James Madison (15-8) and Furman (20-7) to start 2-0.

Parking Information
- Due to the likelihood of increased traffic for this weekend's T-Mobile Tournament parking may be limited around Donald R. Dizney Stadium and other athletic venues located on the southwest side of campus
- Fans are encouraged to park in the lot located at Fifield Hall. In addition, shuttles will be available to assist fans getting to and from athletic venues
- Saturday's game will serve as Florida's Alumni Game
- Numerous alums from the Florida lacrosse program will be present at the game and honored during the break between the first and second quarter
- Giveaway: Florida lacrosse hammocks to the first 100 fans
- North Carolina sits second in the ILWomen/IWLCA poll after starting the season 2-0 with wins over No. 12 James Madison and Furman
- The Tar Heels have six players on the Tewaaraton Watch List: Olivia Dirks, Ally Mastroianni, Taylor Moreno, Jamie Ortega, Emma Trenchard and Caitlyn Wurzburger
- UNC also received nine ILWomen Preseason All-American Honors: Jamie Ortega, Olivia Dirks, Ally Mastroianni, Emma Trenchard, Taylor Moreno, Andie Aldave, Caitlyn Wurzburger, Scottie Rose Growney and Emily Nalls
- Through the first two games, Caitlyn Wurzburger (6g, 7a) and Jamie Ortega (6g, 5a) are leading the way offensively
- Emily Nalls and Ally Mastroianni are leading the way in the draw circle for UNC, posting nine and six, respectively
- In the cage, the Tar Heels return Taylor Moreno to the cage and through two games, she has notched six saves with a .375 save percentage
- Florida sophomore Maggi Hall will be facing off against her sister Gabi Hall on Saturday
- Gabi Hall is a redshirt junior defender for the Tar Heels. Hall has seen action in eight games during her career at North Carolina
