FLORIDA IN THE RANKINGS
The Gators enter the second week of the spring season ranked No. 7 by Golftstat and No. 9 in Golfweek. Florida concluded the fall in the No. 5 spot in the Women's Golf Coaches Poll (WGCA).
Individually, Maisie Filler was tabbed 7th and Jackie Lucena 21st in the February Arnold Palmer Cup Rankings.
LAST TIME OUT
After a successful fall, the Florida women's golf team carried the momentum into the spring opener to win the FAU Paradise Invitational title.
Florida combined for an overall tournament score of 835 (-29) to break the previous program record (838) by three strokes, which was set at the 2019 Gators Invitational. The 277 (-11) in the final round was tied for third all-time in program history and the lowest this season after setting the previous season-low in round one at 278 (-10). UF last recorded a 277 in 2017 at the Briars Creek Invitational.
Jenny Kim had a career outing with collegiate bests in round (66), finish (T2) and tournament score (204). Her 12-under tourney score is tied fourth all-time in program history and her round of 66 (-6) sits tied third. The Gators have now recorded three consecutive runner-up finishes this season.
Also notching a career-low round was Filler with a 65 (-7). She carded eight birdies in her final round to finish in fourth at 11-under for the tournament. Annabell Fuller followed Filler and ended 7-under with an overall score of 209. She began the invite with back-to-back rounds (66,69) in the 60's. Escobar posted all three rounds (71-71-69) under par with one stroke away from her career-low in round three for a T10 performance and a collegiate-best 211 (-5).i.
The victory was the 26th under head coach Emily Bastel Glaser as no Gators finished over par with a combined 67 birdies.
FALL RECAP
Florida concluded a successful fall with three consecutive third-place finishes to begin the season and a runner-up finish in the fall finale, including back-to-back runner-up individuals in Jackie Lucena and Maisie Filler. The placement tied Lucena's collegiate best while marking Filler's career-best. Filler posted all three rounds in the 60's - 69, 66 and 68. After setting her career-low in round two, she turned in a 68 (-4) the next day en route to tying second all-time in program history for low individual tournament at 203 (-13). She was one stroke away from the program record (202) set by current pro Sam Wagner in 2016.

The Gators compete in the Moon Golf Invitational for the second time in program history after finishing 11th last season as Annabell Fuller went 3-under for the tournament for a 10th place finish.
ROBERTS ADDED
Taylor Roberts was added to the roster after transferring in from Florida State at the start of the spring semester. A native of Parkland, Fla., she started every tournament as a freshman for the Seminoles and earned two top 10 finishes. She helped the program record its best finish at the NCAA Championship in ninth while her scoring average ranked 13th in program history.
PRESEASON RANKINGS AND RECOGNITION
The Gators were selected in two preseason polls - #19 by the GolfChannel.com and #21 by the WGCA. Additionally Annabell Fuller was ranked as the No. 23 preseason player by GolfChanel.com and was selected to the ANNIKA Award Watch List for the second straight season.
A SEASON AGO
The Gators qualified for their 21st consecutive and 26th overall NCAA Regional appearance and just missed the top-6 cut, finishing one stroke behind USC in 7th. A member of the SEC All-Freshman Team, Maisie Filler led the way with a T12 finish.
Outside of postseason play, Florida defended it's home course and claimed the sixth straight title at the Gators Invitational. Annabell Fuller turned in a career performance winning her first individual title behind her lowest round (66, -5) and tournament overall (202, -5). Marina Escobar (T12), Clara Manzalini (T12) and Jenny Kim (T15) all placed in the Top-25.

Florida returns to Mark Bostick and hosts the 50th annual VyStar Gators Invitational from March 5-6 as they aim to win the event for the seventh straight year and 25th time in program history
