Annabell Fuller finished runner-up and Marina Escobar T3 at the Clemson Invitational.
SUNSET, S.C. - Annabell Fuller finished runner-up in the regular season finale at the Clemson Invitational on Sunday.
Florida (+32) ended fourth and five strokes from tournament winner LSU (+27) at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. The Gators placed in the top-6 in all nine events this season, including seven performances in the top-4.
Fuller has improved in each of her last three outings - T4, T3, 2nd - to head into postseason play. She sank back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17 to become the fourth different Gator (Jackie Lucena, Maisie Filler and Jenny Kim) to finish runner-up this season.
A stroke behind Fuller, Marina Escobar tied her career-best finish at T3, which she last set at the East Lake Cup in 2020. The junior was one of five players to shoot under-par in round three. She turned in a 71 (-1) as two consecutive birdies closed her final round.
Clara Manzalini (T30) was two strokes from the top-25 followed by Lucena (T63), Filler (81) and Kim (T93).
The Orange and Blue head to the SEC Championship at Greystone Golf Club from April 13-17 in Birmingham, Ala.
