Adams, a fifth-year graduate, has racked up the accolades over her career as she was named a 2021 USA Softball Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist, a 2021 NFCA All-American, an All-SEC First Team selection, 2021 and 2018 SEC All-Defensive Team selection, 2019 SEC All-Tournament Team and 2018 SEC All-Freshman Team.
The Hoschton, Ga. native holds a career .323 batting average with 250 hits, 42 doubles, 3 triple and 23 home runs with 188 runs scored and 141 RBI. Adams has been a mainstay at second base for the Gators as she has started 259 career games for the Orange & Blue.
However, Adams is most notably known for her defensive prowess as she holds a career .986 fielding percentage. The talented middle infielder has produced highlight worthy plays throughout her career, while also making the difficult look simple and routine.
Over her career, Adams has only committed 11 errors with 316 putouts and 438 assists. During her freshman campaign, she became the first second baseman in Southeastern Conference history to post a 1.000 fielding percentage with 58 putouts and 93 assists. Now as a fifth-year graduate, Adams has replicated her freshman year as she has registered 61 putouts and 73 assists so far on the year.
In the Florida record book, Adams ranks seventh in runs scored, seventh in hits, 10th in doubles, 10th in total bases, ninth in walks, fourth in sacrifice flies, fifth in assists and second in double plays turned.
Adams joins former Gators Kelsey Stewart, Jordan Roberts, Amanda Lorenz and 2021 Athletes Unlimited Champion Aleshia Ocasio.
