Gators Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eleven Gators earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors. The WCGA recognizes the academic accomplishments of collegiate gymnasts each season.
Three on the list also earned 2022 WCGA All-America honors – Megan Skaggs, Trinity Thomas and Leanne Wong.
Leah Clapper and Riley McCusker are among the 228 gymnasts across the nation who achieved a 4.0 GPA.
As a team, Florida recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.441 for the 2021-22 academic year.
To qualify for the WCGA Scholastic All-America team, a gymnast must have a GPA of 3.50 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above at the nominating institution.
