Gator soccer adds another Atlantic Coast Conference transfer with sophomore midfielder Charlotte McClure.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida adds another Atlantic Coast Conference transfer in midfielder
Charlotte McClure. McClure comes to the Gators as a redshirt sophomore after two seasons at Virginia and has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
"We are excited to welcome Charlotte to our program. She was a standout player coming out of high school, and we're excited to give her an opportunity to impact in the SEC. Charlotte is a talented player with appealing versatility, a strong commitment to fitness and a hunger to compete," Florida Coach
Samantha Bohon said. "Off the field, she values the incredible support and resources Florida has to offer along with the Top 5 academic opportunity. This is another great addition to our program."
McClure joins 12 other newcomers for the 2023 season.
Eight signed with Florida last fall.
Three transfers and an
early high school graduate also join the 2023 roster.
