GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A collegiate all-around best earned Florida's Anya Pilgrim her second Southeastern Conference Freshman Gymnast of the Week honor.
 
Pilgrim's 39.60 set in Florida's Feb. 9 win versus Arkansas equals the nation's highest freshman all-around for 2024. Four freshmen have posted nine all-around totals of 39.525 or better in 2024 with Pilgrim earning four of those totals.

This is the second weekly honor for the Gators as Inside Gymnastics named junior Leanne Wong its National Gymnast of the Week on Monday.
 
Anya Pilgrim – SEC Freshman of the Week:
Set collegiate best of 39.60 versus then No. 13 Arkansas to be second among a Gator all-around sweep.

• Shares nation's 2024 freshmen high all-around (39.60).
• High all-around among nation's freshmen last weekend.

 
Set collegiate uneven bars best of 9.95 to take second behind Leanne Wong's 10.0.

• 9.95 equals high among all SEC freshmen in last Friday's competition
• Thru five meets of Gator career, owns collegiate-bests of 9.9 or better for each apparatus.

 
Competed at both 2023 FIG World Championships and Pan Am Games (representing Barbados)
