No. 23 Florida Volleyball Set for Weekend Tiger Tests

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It's a weekend of Tigers and Taylor Swift for the No. 23 Florida volleyball team, as the Gators kick things off at home Friday night against the Auburn Tigers for Pack the Dome: Taylor Swift Night. Florida then hits the road for a Sunday matchup with the LSU Tigers at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, La.

- General parking is available in the O'Connell Center lot and garage on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as on Fraternity Row and at the Levin College of Law. Please do not park on city streets or in neighborhoods.
- Disabled parking is available in the O'Connell Center lot with a valid placard, first-come, first-served.
- A record-breaking crowd is expected, so plan to arrive early.
- All O'Connell Center gates open at 6 p.m.
- UF Students should enter through Gate 3 and fill sections 17, 19, and 21 first.
- Lower sections 01, 03, 05, 07, 09, 11, 13, and 15 are reserved seating and require a reserved ticket.
- General admission seating is available in sections 23, 25, 27, and 29, along with all middle and upper levels.
- The Gators head into the second weekend of conference play with a 1-1 record following a four-set win over Alabama last Sunday after falling at home in five sets to Mississippi State in their SEC opener.
- Florida is averaging 13.70 kills per set on a .242 hitting percentage, while also posting 2.47 blocks and 13.56 digs per set, which is good for ninth in the SEC.
- Outside hitter Jordyn Byrd leads the offensive charge, ranking eighth in the conference with 4.05 kills per set. In the middle, Jaela Auguste and Alec Rothe have both totaled 47 blocks to average 1.09 per set. Auguste is also making her mark offensively with a .368 hitting percentage, which ranks eighth in the SEC, while her 108 total kills ranks second on the team.
- Alexis Stucky ranks seventh in the league with 9.15 assists per set and has recorded two matches with 50+ assists and three with 40+ so far this season.
- Redshirt freshman Ella Vogel leads the Gators behind the service line, dropping 18 aces so far this season to rank sixth in the SEC with 0.42 aces per set.
- Freshman libero Lily Hayes has led Florida's backcourt defense eight times this season, while finishing with double-digit digs in nine of Florida's 11 matches.
ABOUT AUBURN
- Averaging 4.83 kills per set and 5.58 points per set in two sweeps over rival Alabama and Mississippi State, Lauren Dreves was named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
- Dreves is averaging a single-season career-high 4.05 kills per set this season, the ninth-highest mark in the conference.
- The Auburn block continues to be one of the most prolific in the country. Entering Friday's matchup, the Tigers are averaging 3.34 blocks per set, No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 in the nation. The front row has compiled double-digit blocking totals in four straight matches and has eclipsed 10-plus blocks in nine different matches this season.
- Kate Mansfield, Grace Havlicek and Bel Zimmerman have each played significant roles in the Orange and Blue's dominance in the front row. Mansfield leads the SEC at 1.70 blocks per set, Havlicek sits fifth at 1.40 and Zimmerman has been no slouch herself, bringing in 1.16 rejections per set.
- Auburn's block, combined with solid play from the back row, has allowed the Tigers to hold opponents to just .148 hitting through 13 matches this season. The mark is the second-best in the SEC and No. 9 in the country.
- During Auburn's win over Mississippi State, the tandem of Dreves and Liz Markovska combined for 34 kills on .375 hitting, 21 digs, four aces and six blocks. Across the two victories last week, the duo each collected 29 kills, 17 digs and one assist.
- Head coach Brent Crouch solidified the 175th win of his career on Sunday against the Bulldogs.
ABOUT LSU
- LSU (8-5, 1-1 SEC) begins the weekend with a 7 p.m. CT match on Friday, Oct. 3, against No. 20 Tennessee (11-1, 2-0 SEC), and concludes the weekend at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 5, versus No. 23 Florida (6-5, 1-1 SEC). SEC Network+ will stream both matches with Garrett Walvoord and Fran Flory on the call.

- LSU split its SEC opening weekend with a three-set loss at Oklahoma and a four-set victory at Arkansas. Over the last five matches, the Tigers have showcased a physical block, averaging 2.84 rejections per set on 54 total blocks, and have recorded three double-digit blocking performances, including a season-high 17 blocks twice in the last three matches. On the season, LSU ranks No. 8 in the SEC with 2.52 blocks per set, and averages 13.17 digs per set to help hold its opponents to a .198 hitting percentage. Offensively, the Tigers have a .218 hitting percentage, averaging 12.96 kills and 12.13 assists per set, and have recorded 50 aces. The Bayou Bengals rank No. 4 in the SEC in total kills (622), blocks (121) and digs (632).
- Outside hitter Jurnee Robinson enters the weekend leading the SEC and ranking No. 8 in the NCAA with 4.77 kills per set and ranks No. 2 in the conference and No. 10 in the nation with 5.30 points per set. Robinson also paces the club with 2.81 digs per set (135 total) and has seven aces and 32 blocks this season. Outside hitter Nia Washington averages 3.89 points per set behind 3.27 kills per set (157 total kills), a team-high 17 aces, and an additional 20 blocks. Middle blocker Jessica Jones has been a consistent threat on both sides of the net, ranking
- No. 9 in the SEC with a .365 hitting percentage on 76 kills, and No. 10 with 1.25 blocks per set on 60 blocks.
- Setter Lauren Brooker hands out 5.31 assists per set and has contributed 11 kills, 14 blocks and six aces, while setter Takyla Brown averages 4.80 assists per set and has two aces.
