GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Gator is being inducted into USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame. Morgan Hurd is part of the 2025 class, the organization announced today.
The induction ceremony is Saturday, Aug. 9 in New Orleans, La., at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships.
Bridget Sloan, a nine-time NCAA champion for the Gators, was part of the 2020 USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame class. Former Florida head coach Ernestine Weaver Russell was a 1986 inductee.
Before Florida:
Hurd was a five-year member of the U.S. Senior National team. During her debut year on the U.S. Senior team, Hurd won individual all-around gold at the 2017 World Championships.

At Florida:
A knee injury suffered prior to her spring 2022 enrollment at the University of Florida sidelined Hurd for her first collegiate season. Part of three consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season title teams which also won the 2022 and 2023 SEC Championship meet. Her collegiate-best 9.95 floor exercise performance at Kentucky helped Gators clinch the 2024 SEC regular-season title. She remains active with the team for the 2025 season, serving as team photographer and content creator.
