Florida Places 22 on CSCAA’s Postseason All-American List

Florida's Josh Liendo earned six CSCAA All-American honors after winning two individual and one relay national title.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following NCAA Championships competition, the men's and women's swimming and diving team landed 22 Gators on the College Swimming and Diving coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American Honors list. The program earned a combined 64 honors (41 first team and 23 second-team).

The awards were determined by a vote of CSCAA-member Division I head swimming coaches and head diving coaches. All-Americans are selected on the basis of their finish at the NCAA Championships and a team's current membership with the CSCAA. Only student-athletes who competed in their championship finals are eligible for All-America Honors. NCAA relays & individuals must score in the top 8 to earn first-team honors while those who finish ninth through sixteenth earn second-team honors

11 men were named on the list following their fourth-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Men's Division I Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington on March 26-29. Florida took home four national titles and totaled 19 top-16 finishes, while recording 12 top-10 program bests. The Gators relay team of Jonny Marshall, Josh Liendo, Julian Smith and Alexander Painter won the program's third national title in the 400 medley relay in 2:56.10 for an NCAA Meet record.

Liendo and Smith both finished with six First-Team All-American honors, whiler Painter took home four relay First-Team honors and two Second-Team in his first NCAA Championship appearance. Liendo won the 100 free for the third-straight year and defended his 100 fly title, while Smith won the program's first ever 100 breaststroke national title.

The Florida Women had 11 named after their sixth-place finish at the NCAA Women's Division I Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington on March 19-22. The placement marks the first time since 2013-15 the program has earned three-straight NCAA top-10 finishes.

The Gators earned 17 First-Team honors and 14 Second-Team. Bella Sims had a team-high six, as he sophomore finished runner-up in both individual backstroke events and was a member of Florida's 400 medley and 800 free relay teams who placed third. The Tokyo Olympian also led off the Gators 200 medley relay who set a school record on the opening night of events with a 1:33.92 and set two individual program records in the 100 back and 100 free.
