No. 3 Florida Competes Friday in NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional Action

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A ticket to the Lone Star State is this weekend's focus for No. 3 seed Florida gymnastics.
Florida returns to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for this weekend's NCAA Regional competition and begins Friday in the 8 p.m. ET session of NCAA Second Round Regional action.

NCAA Regional Info:
Florida advanced to the NCAA Championships 40 times in the meet's 42-year history, missing the 2000 and 2019 events. The Gators have won 21 NCAA Regional Championships, including the 2024 event in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
The Tuscaloosa Regional leads all four sites in number of teams advancing to the 2024 NCAA Championships (Alabama, California, Florida) and to team final (California, Florida). This regional includes teams from four different conferences – No. 3 Florida & No. 11 Alabama (SEC), No. 6 California, No. 19 NC State, No. 22 North Carolina, No. 27 Clemson (ACC), No. 23 Iowa, No. 34 Rutgers (Big Ten) and No. 14 Oregon State (Pac-12). California was 6-0 in regular-season action, marking its second consecutive undefeated regular season spanning two conferences (Pac 12 in 2024).

Tuscaloosa Regional Perfection:
The gymnasts who posted more than 44 percent of the nation's 10.0s this season will be in the Coleman Coliseum this weekend.
Three – Florida's Selena Harris-Miranda and Leanne Wong plus Oregon State's Jade Carey – bring a trio of 10.0s into this weekend's competition. They share the 2025 individual 10.0s lead with UCLA's Jordan Chiles.

- Nine teams compete at four regional sites – Alabama, Penn State, Utah and Washington
- Regional First Round – Lowest two seeded teams at each site compete to advance to regional semifinal
- Regional Second Round – Eight teams compete, split into two four-team sessions. Top two teams in each second round session advance to regional final
- Regional Final – Four teams compete, with top two teams advancing to NCAA Championships, set for April 17-19 in Fort Worth, Texas.
